Horizon Behavior Technicians work in classrooms, work sites and homes and provide a myriad of services to students and families. Behavior technicians can support students in inclusion classrooms, administer discrete trial instruction (DTI), follow students into social and recreational environments and collaborate with classroom teachers and paraprofessionals in the delivery of academic instruction. In client homes, Horizon Behavior Technicians assist parents in working with their children in the areas of self-care, activities of daily living, social and community domains to increase skill acquisition and independence. Horizon Behavior Technicians monitor progress through empirically validated data collection procedures.
